‘12 On The Money’ Segment Highlights Company’s New Direction/Focus on Energy Management
HAMDEN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EnerLume Energy Management Corp., (OTC BB: ENLU, http://www.enerlume.com), an innovative energy management company, was featured on News 12 Connecticut, Cablevision’s local cable news network. The program segment, ‘12 On The Money: EnerLume Energy Management Corp.,’ originally aired on Saturday December 1, 2007. During the segment, News 12 correspondent Rebecca Surran interviewed EnerLume Chief Executive Officer, David Murphy, and highlighted the company’s recent change in direction from food services to energy management.
In the interview, Murphy discussed EnerLume’s recent shift in focus, stating, “The energy crisis is really a worldwide problem, so for the long-term growth of the company, management decided and the shareholders affirmed their decision to sell our food services business and go into energy conservation full time.”
During the interview Murphy discussed the company’s main product, the EnerLume | EM®, a device that reduces energy consumption on commercial and industrial lighting systems by up to 15%. “Our product is geared to the commercial and industrial space, it is not a consumer product,” Murphy explained. “The unique thing about our product is that it is single installation before the circuit breaker and we treat incoming electrical waves going into light breakers.” He added, “The light loss is very minimal with our product, 15% savings and less than 5% light loss.”
